Lessons from a Snail

    A motivational story   The crimson sun was high, and the season of blossom and fruits was just a few days away. In the gardens of nature, there lived a snail. Slowest of them all, but carried a shell of wisdom. As summer was fading and the grand season of spring was arriving in a few days, the snail marked an apple tree; the large apple tree was going to be a challenging climb for the slow creature, but the juicy apples at the top would certainly be worth the hassle. The snail dragged itself to the bottom of the tree, and diligently started its climb; across the apple tree, stood a tall and dark oak tree. The oak tree was home to a pair of grey owls; the snail had caught their attention. The owls mocked the snail, “look at that slow-poke, barely moving an inch in an hour. The poor fellow has no idea that there are no apples in the tree.” The snail did not mind and kept itself on the track to the top, and the owls went back about minding their business.
